BNG wins two EuroWeek SSA Bond Awards 2010

On 20 May 2010 EuroWeek hosted its third annual bond market awards dinner.

BNG won the award Most impressive funding team for supranational/agency with funding requirement of under EUR 20bn. Nominated were Asian Development Bank, BNG, European Community, International Finance Corp and Kommunalbanken. In 2009 BNG also won the award Most impressive public sector funding team (with an issuance programme of less than EUR 40bn).

For the third year in a row the award Most impressive funding official for supranational/agency with funding requirement of under EUR 20bn was won by Bart van Dooren, Head Capital Markets & Investor Relations at BNG. The other nominees this year were Herbert Barth of the European Community, Stefan Goebel of Rentenbank, Ben Powell of Kommunalbanken and Maria Lomotan of ADB.

In order to generate the awards, EuroWeek asked the market to vote: banks to vote for the borrowers and borrowers to vote for the banks.
